Sales Representative Job Purpose: The primary responsibilities of the Sales Representative position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, and support the sales team.


Sales Representative Job Duties:


  • Show a high degree of self-motivation, & selling with integrity.

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and consistently close new business.

  • Analyze client needs, accurately present Great Family services and capabilities, and convincingly deliver sales presentations created by Great Family working in collaboration with you and the prospect.

  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential leads.

  • Generate leads through web, cold calling, email and in-person visits.

  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature, as well as entering notes specific to the client’s needs.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Must be able to work and willingness to work flexible hours including to meet the needs of the business.

  • Have or the wilingness to build knowledge of related products and services, along with a willingness to expand and maintain that knowledge.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.

  • Be a fast learner, cheerful, with a positive attitude.

  • A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction

  • A strong team player yet still able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

  • Bilingual is a plus



  • Pay is determinded by the peformance of the sales representative.
